About Foodshare

Foodshare is dedicated to fighting hunger in the Greater Hartford area, including Tolland county. Foodshare partners with community programs to ensure that families and individuals who are experiencing hunger have access to the help they need. Food is available through Mobile Foodshare (an outdoor pantry-on-wheels), a network of pantries and soup kitchens, SNAP outreach centers, and school lunch programs In order to find food, use the meal locator tool on their website. There are four ways you can help Foodshare. You can donate your time, donate money or food, participate in Foodshare events that raise awareness, and lastly advocate against hunger online. Founded in 1982, Foodshare serves 121,000 people through more than 200 other food banks.
