About Care and Share Food Bank

Care and Share Food Bank serves the Southern Colorado area. Anyone is eligible to receive food assistance however you should go through a food pantry. Care and Share supplies the food banks and not individuals directly. Call the food pantries directly to find service hours. If you are looking to contact us, please contact us weekdays between 8am and 4pm. If you wish to help Care and Share, you can donate directly money on their website or you can donate non-perishable foods. Additionally, if you are farmer, you can donate your crop. On their website they suggest that you use social media to promote their cause. This food bank began in 1972 by sister Dominique Pisciotta who started feeding the poor in her community. Today there are two large distribution centers.
